This website provides background information about the King Alfred redevelopment, the Design Team and the proposals. The redevelopment will deliver a major contribution to city-wide community benefits, including:

  • Much needed housing including affordable homes
  • Community facilities
  • Jobs and economic benefits
  • Highly sustainable design

The views of local people have been considered throughout the development of the design and the proposals are supported by the majority of residents in Brighton and Hove.
